John and Julia Robertson House 265 Summit
Text
This large brick house was built in 1885 for John and Julia Robertson. Constructed for a cost of $10,000, the home was designed by Charles Mould in the Queen Anne style. Charles Mould designed many buildings in the city of Saint Paul, and even more in his partnership with Robert McNicol. The lost John Merriam Mansion on University Avenue, and the Joseph Forepaugh Mansion on Summit Avenue are a few of the firm of Mould and McNicol’s works.
